How long have you been doing this?

I shot my first wedding on Dec 31, 2018. I had less than 12 hours notice for this wedding and it was -31C outside. (a crazy story) 
I have been hooked ever since! 

How many photos do we get?

Typically around 50-75 photographs per hour. This can vary based on the amount of people, the events during the day. An 8-10 hour day may deliver anywhere from 600 to 900 photos.
I take pride in delivering quality over quantity.
All images will be culled and edited to ensure you receive a high-quality product that tells the full story of your wedding day.

When do we get our photos and how?

You’ll get a handful of sneak peeks within 24 - 48 hours.

A gallery of my favourite shots, will be delivered in an easy-to-use online album where you can download your images in high resolution and share with guests.
A custom USB with the rest of your photos will be delivered within 4 weeks of your wedding date, along with your album, if included in your package.

What do you love about being a wedding photographer?

Weddings are full of raw, unfiltered emotions. The tears of joy, the heartfelt laughter, are all moments I get to freeze in time.

Every wedding is different and I love to tell your unique story.

I love the small details that make each wedding special. They tell a story about the couple but these little touches often go unnoticed in the hustle of the day.

I get to meet incredible couples and their families. By the end of the process, I often feel more like a friend than just a vendor. It’s a privilege to be trusted with such an important day, and I cherish the connections I build with each couple.

Should we have a second photographer?

You don't need a second photographer, but I do recommend it for larger weddings. 100+ guests and if you want

 getting ready coverage at separate locations. It will also help you get more candid moments. The additional photographer can be with you for only certain times or all day.


Do you have a back up plan for emergencies?

YES!
I always bring 2 cameras for shooting the wedding as well as a backup camera. I also bring extra flashes, batteries, memory cards, chargers, and cables. Everything is stored in multiple locations once downloaded and I have a back up photographer, as well as a large network of other wedding photographers willing to step in if something happens to me.

Can I print my own photos?

Yes, 100%!

You’ll receive all your final images in high resolution with full printing rights, so you’re free to print wherever you’d like. 
I recommend using a professional photo lab for the best quality.


Do you travel?

Absolutely!
Whether you’re getting married in Edmonton, or across Canada, or planning a destination elopement, I am happy to travel with you.
Out of country weddings are free in exchange for travel costs !

Should we book an engagement session?

Engagement sessions are a great way for us to get to know each other before the big day, and they help you feel more comfortable in front of the camera.

Can you help with planning?

Absolutely! I’m happy to help build your wedding photography timeline to ensure we have time for all the moments that matter most. This is at no extra charge for all packages

How many hours will you be with us?

That depends on your package. My gold package is usually from getting ready to the first dances. If you have anything else planned such as bouquet toss, sparkler exit, etc I am happy to stay for that at no extra charge!


What is your photography style?

DOCUMENTARY & EDITORIAL – capturing the moment. Creating more of a narrative, a story-book of your day. Real candid occasions that help you re-live your wedding day and will bring a smile to your face, maybe a tear to your eye years after.

Do you take payment plans?

To secure your date, a 30% booking fee and signed contract are required. The remaining balance can be split into flexible payment options, including monthly or quarterly installments. For added flexibility, payments can extend past your wedding day, though the final gallery will be delivered only upon full payment

Are there any additional costs?

Travel Fees.

Anywhere 3 hours or more from my location will be charged a travel fee of .50/km. If the wedding runs late into the night a hotel or place to stay may be requested.

Permits & Entry Fees

If any separate permits or entry fees are required to photograph at your chosen location, those costs will be added to your photography package.

Meals

If I’m working through your meal service, I do need to be fed.

For formal dinners, I ask to be seated in the 

same room as the action, so I don’t miss speeches, tears, or spontaneous dance moves.
